I apologize for the poor quality of the audio, which makes it sound like I have a lisp....the S's all sound drawn out and emphasized. I'm going to look into getting an external microphone to correct that issue.
Yes, that's exactly it. Low body temperature as measured with a thermometer, cold hands, cold feet. Feel cold and chilly often. I never had those symptoms before I came down with ME/CFS. In fact, I was always the warm one in the family, turning the thermostat down while my wife turned it up. Now we're the opposite.
Taking T3 has improved these symptoms somewhat, and I think also gives and energy boost.
I never had the feeling cold issue, but I found out my body temp was on the low-side once I read this was an issue with PWCs and started taking my temperature.
It was usually 97.8, and if I was lucky it would get to 98.1. But once I started focusing on body temp it started to improve. I think for me it was just a matter of eating very frequently. It seems my body temp ramps up when I eat, and then starts to fade the longer I go without eating. My body temp is usually in the 98's now.
Hey Patrick.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you Thyroid symptoms?
Low body temp when measured with a thermometer?
Feel cold or chilly a lot?

Check your iodine levels. I started supplementing iodine and it has helped with thyroid body temp issues.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I will look into that. thanks, Baffled.
