Downfall parody: the CFS version
Yesterday, I was reading a list of the best internet memes of all time, and it occurred to me that a lot of memes are absolutely ripe to be modified for ME topics. I think I'll start adapting them and posting here on my blog from time to time. I'll call them MEmes.
Here's my contribution to the Downfall parody genre.
Blogger will only embed the video in this small format. I suggest you click the YouTube logo on the bottom right of the video and view it directly on my YouTube page.
Love it!!! First time on your blog for me, and it all sounds so familiar.
For me luckily, after searching for 3 years with 14 hrs sleep per day, the fatigue ended up being caused by VitD deficiency. Revelation and relieve. And lots of other supplements and autoimmune protocol Paleo diet helped the energy come back. Good luck in your quest for health. Keep taking matters into your own hands and brain, learning and getting your blood tested...
Patrick, this is spreading thru facebook like wildfire, and you are getting many appreciative comments there! What a great job you did - you've made many of us smile & laugh, including me! I was most amused when I went to share it to facebook and the screenshot youtube selected was of the coffee line, since I'm one of those (and also one on valcyte, as you know - restarted on it after a month off). Thanks so much for the grins!
Yup ..we love you... no coffee up my butt...but damn magnets under the mattress...n ditto all the rest...20 years of this......http://www.facebook.com/clare.keefe
Thank you for the laugh. I was literally crying. If you want to do more, I know the perfect person. She's on Facebook Message me if you want to talk to her.
Patrick, that is a work of absolute genius! There is more insight into the reality of living with CFS in this video, than in a zillion other documentaries I've seen on the subject. Keep up the creative work mate! And if you're bored, visit me at: http://cfs-survivors.org/
Talk about inspired! I found this last night (thanks to No Poster Girl) and am still laughing today. The weird alternate universe of ME/CFS - you absolutely nailed it. Thank you very very much, and more, please.
I wasn't familiar with the reference and had never heard of the movie...but even so, this was very funny! Especially the last line...still laughing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this - I needed a laugh today!
