It comes and goes. It scared the heck out of me the first time I had it. It doesn't feel anything like FM, at least in my case. <br /><br />People that have FM have different symptoms which makes it hard to diagnose. The basic definition is pain in both the top and bottom and right and left sides of the body that lasts more than three months. Most often you are stiff and sore when you wake up in the morning. The whole tender point thing isn't a reliable diagnosis of fibro. Mine come and go. They got really bad after contracting CFS which was when I finally got a diagnosis for fibro even though I suspected that I've had it for decades.<br /><br />One more comment, if you are taking lots of magnesium you need to track your blood levels regularly.
